TEXAS WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER CUSTOMERS FOUND RAZOR BLADES IN THIS EVERYDAY ITEM

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A Texas woman was arrested in Biloxi, Mississippi after customers discovered razor blades hidden inside bread and bakery items at two Walmart locations. Here's what may have happened.

On December fifth, customers at Walmart stores in Biloxi began making disturbing discoveries. A shopper found a razor blade inside a banana nut muffin purchased from the Walmart Supercenter on CT Switzer Senior Drive. That same day, another customer reported finding a razor blade in a loaf of bread bought from the same location.

Despite these initial discoveries, police were not notified until Monday, December fifteenth, more than a week later. When Walmart workers conducted a thorough sweep of their merchandise, they found multiple compromised products. "They did another sweep of their merchandise for sale and found multiple loaves of bread that were compromised with razor blades. They also found a muffin with a fishing hook in it. Somebody had poked those items through the plastic packaging," police reported.

The tampering incidents occurred at two Biloxi Walmart locations: the Supercenter on CT Switzer Senior Drive and the Neighborhood Market on Pass Road. Surveillance cameras captured images of thirty three year old Camille Benson exiting one of the Walmart stores.

On December sixteenth, investigators released the surveillance photos to the public around noon. By five PM that same day, Benson was in custody. Police received a tip that she had been seen in the one thousand block of Division Street, where officers located and arrested her.

Benson, a Texas resident with ten previous criminal cases in Bexar County including a twenty twenty one misdemeanor criminal mischief charge, was processed and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. She was charged with attempted mayhem, and Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set her bond at one hundred thousand dollars.

Walmart issued a statement saying, "The health and safety of our customers is always a top priority. We have removed and thoroughly inspected all potentially affected products at impacted stores in Biloxi." The Biloxi Police Department stated they do not believe any other stores have been targeted.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
