TEXAS MAN GETS 50 YEARS FOR ONE CHILLING PHONE CALL

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A thirty-year-old Texas man has been sentenced to fifty years in prison after pleading guilty to shooting his wife fifteen times in front of their toddler. Here's what may have happened.

In Bryan, Texas, just after midnight in February twenty twenty-five, Brandon Dickerson shot and killed his wife Alexis Walls at their residence on East Eighteenth Street. The shooting occurred in front of the couple's eighteen-month-old child, who was left unharmed during the violence.

According to police reports, Dickerson fired fifteen shots at his wife inside their home. The child, who is autistic, witnessed the deadly attack but was not physically injured. Following the shooting, Dickerson himself called nine-one-one to report that he had killed his wife by shooting her multiple times.

Officers with the Bryan Police Department arrived at the residence around one a.m. and found Walls dead at the scene. During questioning, Dickerson told detectives he shot Walls in what he described as a jealous rage because he suspected she was cheating on him.

The eighteen-month-old child is now living with Walls' grandparents following the tragic incident. Family members described Walls as loving and vibrant, saying she was friendly, kind, and thoughtful. Her family affectionately referred to her as a hurricane, noting that Alexis never met a stranger and welcomed everyone she met with open arms. They remembered her as bubbly and talkative, describing her as a ball of joy for her family, a listening ear for her friends, and everything to her young son Zaylen.

On Tuesday, Dickerson appeared before Judge Kyle Hawthorne and pleaded guilty to one count of murder. The judge sentenced him to fifty years in prison. His defense attorney stated that Dickerson is sincerely remorseful for the actions of that night and takes full responsibility for his actions, accepting the punishment assessed in the case.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
