STUDENT HIDES RIFLE IN BUSH, SHOOTS SPEAKER AT UTAH UNIVERSITY

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A twenty-two-year-old Utah man has been arrested after allegedly confessing to family members that he fatally shot a political figure from a university rooftop, leaving behind bullets engraved with internet memes and video game references.

Here's what may have happened according to official narratives.

Tyler Robinson arrived at Utah Valley University on Thursday morning just after eight o'clock driving a gray Dodge Challenger. Wearing a plain maroon shirt, light-colored shorts, and a black hat with white logo, Robinson allegedly made his way to the roof of the Losee Center for Student Success building.

According to police reports, Robinson had previously posted messages on Discord about retrieving a rifle from a drop point, where he had left the weapon wrapped in a towel and hidden in bushes. The rifle and bullets were reportedly engraved with various inscriptions including internet memes and references to the video game Helldivers Two.

At approximately eleven fifty-two that morning, during a public appearance by political commentator Charlie Kirk, Robinson allegedly fired one fatal shot from the rooftop, striking Kirk in the neck. Officials state Robinson then leaped from the rooftop and changed outfits after the incident.

Shell casings recovered from the crime scene contained engraved messages, while the rifle was later found in a wooded area behind the university building. The bullet inscriptions included phrases like "Hey fascist! Catch!" and gaming references that authorities linked to the suspect.

The breakthrough in the case came when Robinson's father saw photos released by authorities and confronted his son. Robinson allegedly confessed to the shooting, telling his father he would rather die by suicide than surrender. The father contacted a youth pastor who serves as a court security officer, who then alerted the U.S. Marshals Service.

Officials noted that Robinson "had become more political in recent years" and "thought both political sides were contributing to a country being in a worse place." A family member eventually "reached out to a family friend, who told authorities Robinson confessed or implied that he was responsible."

One official expressed confidence in the arrest, stating "I think, with a high degree of certainty, we have him."

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
