MOTHERS DISTURBING PHONE CALL LED TO MURDER ARREST

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A forty-year-old Milton mother has been charged with murder after her six-year-old daughter was found stabbed to death in their family home. Here's what may have happened.

On Tuesday night, February twenty-fourth, twenty twenty-six, April Oliva contacted her sister around eleven p.m. from her residence on the five thousand block of Nowling Drive in Milton, Florida. According to authorities, Oliva was "not making much sense, making comments about evil spirits and something bad happened" during the disturbing phone call.

The sister's father responded to the home and entered through an unlocked door, where he discovered a horrific scene. April Oliva was found lying next to her six-year-old daughter Valerie Oliva's body in the kitchen area, both covered in blood. When found, April repeatedly stated "she's dead" to the person who discovered them.

Deputies responded around midnight to a nine-one-one call reporting a cutting incident. First responders pronounced the child dead at the scene. Investigators determined that Valerie Oliva had suffered more than twenty stab wounds from a kitchen knife, which was later found in the dining room.

April Oliva sustained what authorities described as self-inflicted wounds during the incident. She was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and is currently in stable condition. Officials stated "She had self-inflicted wounds on herself, and the six-year-old was determined to be deceased as a result of multiple knife stab wounds."

A warrant has been issued for April Oliva's arrest on a charge of murder in connection with her daughter's death. She is being held without bond.

Authorities called the incident horrific, with officials stating "This is a deeply tragic case, and our thoughts are with all those affected. Detectives continue to gather evidence and conduct interviews."

The investigation into the February twenty-fifth arrest continues as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
