MANS ARREST AFTER RAMMING EX-WIFE IN KROGER PARKING LOT

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A forty-seven-year-old Jonesboro man faces multiple felony charges after police say he intentionally rammed his truck into his ex-partner's vehicle in a Kroger parking lot and violated a protection order. Here's what may have happened.

On January fifteenth, twenty twenty-six, Phillip Blake Mink was arrested in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder, first-degree stalking, and first-degree criminal mischief.

According to police reports, the incident began when Mink came to the victim's home despite an active protection order against him. Officers say Mink tried to get the victim outside by ringing her doorbell repeatedly and banging on her windows. When the victim refused to leave her home, Mink sent her several text messages before driving away in a white Ford F-one-fifty.

The situation escalated at a Kroger location where an officer was sitting in front of the store facing Wilkins Avenue. The victim pulled up beside the officer while on a phone call with Mink. Police report that Mink could be heard yelling at the victim during the call.

According to the arrest affidavit, Mink then began traveling at a high rate of speed in the parking lot toward the victim. Police state that Mink intentionally struck the victim's vehicle while she was sitting inside, causing a collision. The victim told officers she was in fear for her life during the incident.

After the collision, Mink reportedly shouted "She shot me. She shot me" multiple times, though police reports indicate the victim had defended herself due to her being in fear for her life.

Mink was taken into custody and held on a one hundred thousand dollar cash-only bond. Court records show Mink had defied the existing court order by coming to the victim's home and attempting to force contact.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
