FORMER POLITICAL FIGURES THIRD ARREST TRACED TO TWO DOZEN IMAGES

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A seventy-nine-year-old former political figure was taken into custody in South Portland for his third alleged probation violation in five months. Here's what may have happened.

On Monday, January fourteenth, twenty twenty-six, Eliot Cutler was arrested at a South Portland hotel by Maine State Police detectives who were conducting an unrelated investigation. The encounter occurred around four twenty in the afternoon when detectives from the Special Victim's Unit were working on a separate case at the hotel location.

During their interaction with Cutler, detectives determined he was in violation of his probation conditions. Police consulted with Cutler's probation officer before taking him into custody. Cutler was then transported to Cumberland County Jail where he was held on a probation hold.

According to court documents, Cutler was accused of looking up pornographic materials on the internet on December twenty-eighth and again on January second from his home. More than two dozen sexually explicit images were found Monday at Cutler's residence on his electronic devices. The images have been impounded by the court, preventing them from being publicly released as evidence.

Court records indicate that at least one of the images depicts a relatively young female with reference to the word girl. Cutler had previously been accused of visiting a website for a massage parlor in the San Francisco area and filling out a questionnaire about his preferences for a sexual escort.

During court proceedings, prosecutors stated that Cutler began to loudly cry and say he can't help himself and that he has had this problem for sixty-five years. Prosecutors also noted that Cutler has demonstrated that he has no intent of following his ordered conditions and is simply searching for ways to circumvent them.

Cutler's attorney stated that he has and will deny the allegations and had no comment on the latest accusation because he has not seen the arrest-related documents. This marks Cutler's third probation violation in a five-month period.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
