FORMER NEIGHBORS HOME INVASION LEADS TO GUNS, COCAINE, AND $500,000 CASH.

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A forty-seven-year-old man was arrested after allegedly breaking into his former neighbor's home and pistol-whipping the victim during a robbery that ended with the suspect being shot. Here's what may have happened.

On January eighth at approximately eight zero five in the evening, deputies in Lake County responded to reports of a home invasion in Wadsworth. According to police reports, Brian Wisch, age forty-seven, allegedly forced his way into the victim's residence by breaking through a glass storm door while armed with a firearm.

Once inside the home, Wisch reportedly demanded money from the victim. Police say Wisch was a previous neighbor of the homeowner. During the confrontation, Wisch allegedly obtained several hundred dollars from the victim before repeatedly striking the victim in the face and body with his pistol.

The violent encounter took an unexpected turn when the victim managed to retrieve a firearm and shot Wisch in the stomach during the home invasion. After being wounded, Wisch fled the scene on foot, leaving the victim with serious injuries to the face and body from the pistol assault.

Deputies immediately searched the surrounding area but were initially unable to locate the wounded suspect. When detectives eventually found Wisch, he was suffering from the gunshot wound to his stomach sustained during the break-in.

The investigation led to the recovery of firearms, cocaine, and cash. Officials indicated that drug-related charges against the victim are likely in the future, suggesting the case may involve additional criminal elements beyond the home invasion itself.

The incident highlights the dangerous nature of armed home invasions and the split-second decisions victims face when confronted by violent intruders. Wisch now faces charges related to the alleged break-in, armed robbery, and assault of his former neighbor.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
