FLORIDA MANS DOG CAGE HID $600K SECRET THAT ENDED HIS ROAD TRIP

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A twenty-five-year-old Florida man was arrested in Fort Wayne, Indiana after police allegedly discovered sixty-six pounds of cocaine hidden beneath a dog cage during a traffic stop. Here's what may have happened.

On Thursday, November sixth at one ten in the afternoon, Fort Wayne Police Department Uniformed Narcotics Division detectives pulled over Jordon Wayne Lanier for alleged speeding. Officers conducted the traffic stop on Lanier's black two thousand nineteen Chevrolet Silverado with Florida plates.

During the stop, a department K-nine conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. The K-nine partner detected drugs during the sniff of the truck, prompting further investigation.

Officers instructed Lanier to exit his vehicle. When he stepped out, police observed a Springfield Armory forty-five caliber handgun in plain view inside the vehicle. A large dog cage containing a dog was visible in the truck bed.

Police located a compartment in the truck and found approximately thirty individually packaged kilograms of cocaine stashed under the dog cage. After removing an access panel, officers allegedly discovered the thirty kilos of cocaine. The total amount of cocaine found was about sixty-six pounds.

Multiple news sources reported the cocaine had an estimated street value of more than six hundred thousand dollars. Lanier, identified as being from Ocala, Florida, was arrested following the discovery.

The traffic stop began as a routine speeding violation but escalated when the police dog indicated the possible presence of narcotics in the vehicle. The large quantity of individually packaged cocaine suggested potential distribution intent, though specific charges were not detailed in available reports.

Fort Wayne Police Department's Narcotics Division handled the investigation and arrest. The presence of the firearm and the substantial amount of narcotics led to Lanier being taken into custody on November sixth.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
