BATAVIA MANS 911 CALL LEADS TO HIS OWN MURDER ARREST

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A thirty-seven-year-old Batavia man called nine-one-one to report he had killed his wife, leading to his arrest on murder charges. Here's what may have happened.

On Tuesday morning at approximately four thirty-seven a.m., Hector Luvianos-Barrera contacted emergency dispatchers with a shocking admission. According to police reports, Luvianos-Barrera told dispatchers he had killed his wife at their apartment in the one hundred block of Church Street in Batavia.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Luvianos-Barrera waiting outside the residence. Police took him into custody without incident. Inside the apartment, officers discovered Noemi Parada Narvaez with what authorities described as significant, life-threatening injuries.

Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures on the victim, but Parada Narvaez was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not specified the exact nature of her injuries in their initial reports.

According to prosecutors, the case details reveal disturbing allegations. Court documents indicate that Luvianos-Barrera allegedly stabbed his wife twenty to thirty times in her head and an additional twenty to twenty-five times in her back, neck and chest. Prosecutors also allege he repeatedly struck the woman's body and head with a hammer.

During questioning, Luvianos-Barrera reportedly told investigators, "I defended myself and exceeded myself and killed her," according to court records.

Police characterized the incident as domestic-related and stated there was no threat to the community. The Kane County State's Attorney has filed murder charges against Luvianos-Barrera.

On Wednesday, December twenty-fourth, Luvianos-Barrera appeared before a judge who ordered him detained in Kane County Jail without bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for January second.

The investigation into this domestic violence incident continues as authorities work to piece together the events that led to Parada Narvaez's death in the early morning hours on Church Street.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
