BARBERS ARREST STEMS FROM ONE HIDDEN OBJECT IN BATHROOM

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A fifty-five-year-old New Jersey barber stands accused of secretly recording customers after a hidden camera was discovered in a barbershop bathroom. Here's what may have happened.

On February thirteenth, the owner of Gino's Barbershop on Bridgeton Pike in Mantua Township contacted the Mantua Township Police Department to report a disturbing discovery. A spy camera had been found hidden inside the establishment's restroom.

The device, disguised as a power bank, was positioned inside a basket on the back of the toilet. Police say the camera had been concealed underneath toilet paper within the basket, strategically placed to record unsuspecting customers using the facilities.

According to authorities, Richard Doerrmann, who worked as a barber at the shop, had placed the device there on or about February fifth. The barbershop owner immediately contacted police after making the discovery and cooperated fully with the investigation, helping detectives identify Doerrmann as a suspect.

Police allege this was not an isolated incident, claiming Doerrmann placed spy cameras in the barbershop's bathrooms on multiple occasions. Following the initial report, detectives launched a comprehensive investigation that included searching Doerrmann's home and electronic devices.

On February sixteenth, police interviewed Doerrmann about the hidden camera. During questioning, authorities say he made admissions about his involvement. He acknowledged that the basket belonged to him and that he positioned the device underneath toilet paper inside the basket.

The discovery has shaken longtime customers of the establishment. One patron who has frequented the barbershop for approximately twenty years expressed concern, stating it is quite frightening to think that there could be a camera hidden somewhere because it's not really a big bathroom.

Gino's Barbershop was closed to walk-in customers on Thursday, February nineteenth, though the establishment remained open for clients with scheduled appointments as the investigation continued.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
